- Managing RFIs, submittals, drawings, change orders, and project records
- Supporting project closeout documentation including warranties, maintenance manuals, and turnover packages
- Coordinating supplier and subcontractor pricing, purchase orders, and procurement activities
- Assisting with budgeting, cost tracking, production reporting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Preparing and processing change orders, extras, and pricing adjustments
- Supporting Project Managers with scheduling, forecasting, cost code tracking, and financial reporting
- Coordinating with Accounting to support invoicing and project billings
- Performing quantity takeoffs and assisting with progress tracking and reporting
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
- Helping identify potential project risks and working collaboratively to keep projects moving forward safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who enjoys being organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping projects succeed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years of experience in construction or a related industry
- Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, building materials, scheduling, and project documentation
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline (considered an asset)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or construction management software is considered an asset
- A positive attitude, curiosity, and a desire to continue developing toward a Project Manager career path.
At Horizon, we believe in growing our people from the ground up. This role is designed as a stepping stone into Project Management, with opportunities to build your skills, take on increasing responsibility, and grow your career alongside an experienced team.

- Competitive salary ($55,000 - $72,000)
- Extended health, dental, and vision benefits
- RRSP matching program
- Annual bonus program
- Paid vacation and sick time
- A collaborative, team-first culture focused on continuous improvement and professional growth.
