This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP Financials transformations for enterprise clients in a remote consulting environment.
You will serve as a trusted functional expert, guiding organizations through complex financial process improvements and ERP modernization initiatives.
The position requires strong business acumen, technical expertise, and the ability to translate financial requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.
You will collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and project stakeholders throughout the full implementation lifecycle.
From discovery and configuration to testing, deployment, and training, you will help deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency and financial visibility.

As a key functional leader, you will be responsible for guiding Oracle Cloud Financials implementations and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementation workstreams from initial requirements gathering through production deployment.
- Acting as the functional subject matter expert across Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Tax, Collections, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Designing and optimizing Chart of Accounts structures, financial reporting solutions, and month-end and year-end close processes.
- Conducting client workshops to understand business needs, recommend best practices, and define effective Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Performing business process analysis, gap assessments, and solution design activities aligned with client objectives.
- Configuring Oracle Cloud Financials applications to support business requirements and operational workflows.
- Creating functional specifications, solution documentation, and technical design materials for development teams.
- Supporting financial data conversion and migration activities from legacy ERP systems.
- Developing testing strategies, test cases, and validation plans for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Coordinating deployment activities, supporting issue resolution, and ensuring successful system adoption.
- Delivering end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions to client teams.
- Collaborating with project managers, technical specialists, offshore teams, and business stakeholders throughout implementation projects.
The ideal candidate brings deep Oracle Cloud Financials expertise, strong consulting experience, and the ability to work effectively with enterprise clients. Required qualifications include:
- Minimum of 5 years of Oracle ERP implementation experience, with experience leading Oracle Cloud ERP Financials projects as a Functional Lead or Module Lead.
- Proven experience delivering at least two full lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementations.
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Tax, Collections, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting processes, and enterprise finance operations.
- Experience designing Chart of Accounts structures and financial reporting frameworks.
- Hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials configuration experience and business process consulting expertise.
- Ability to perform requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, testing, and production deployment activities.
- Experience developing functional documentation and collaborating with technical teams on integrations and enhancements.
- Strong experience with financial data conversion and ERP migration projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse client stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with Budgetary Controls, Encumbrance Accounting, Oracle SCM, or Project Portfolio Management is a plus.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%–35% within the United States based on project requirements.
