Manufacturing Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Coordinator is responsible for supporting manufacturing, inventory, and logistics operations to ensure efficient production and timely project delivery. This role manages manufacturing orders, monitors inventory levels, coordinates material movement, and works closely with vendors, branch personnel, and project teams to support operational goals while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate raw material inventory to support production schedules and project deadlines.
  • Create, manage, and complete manufacturing orders to meet production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and process inventory reports to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Coordinate the pickup, delivery, receipt, and transfer of materials and equipment between vendors, branch locations, and job sites.
  • Review material lists for accuracy and identify missing items as needed.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Arrange freight shipments, including full truckload, LTL, and parcel deliveries.
  • Support branch and project activities by sourcing and moving equipment to meet project schedules.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Provide backup reception support by answering phones, taking messages, and assisting visitors.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors, branch personnel, and customers.
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, inventory control, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with time-sensitive information.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with standard office equipment and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred; construction industry experience is a plus.
  • Position requires on-site work; relocation assistance and per diem are not offered.
