  • Perform carrier tracing activities for delayed, failed-to-load, or difficult-to-locate shipments to ensure timely resolution.
  • Source transportation coverage for various shipment segments, including oversized or specialized loads, while balancing service requirements and operational constraints.
  • Utilize bid and quote request tools to identify specialized vehicle options and provide accurate cost estimates.

  • Maintain proactive communication with customers, drivers, and logistics partners throughout the shipment lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain required industry certifications and compliance knowledge relevant to assigned sectors.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Operations Specialist I or equivalent experience in time-critical logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or customer operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions quickly in high-pressure situations with incomplete information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve complex operational issues.
  • Experience managing customer concerns, de-escalating challenging situations, and maintaining professional communication.
  • Ability to identify creative solutions for non-standard transportation needs, including specialized vehicles and oversized shipments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain required industry certifications, such as Dangerous Goods handling certifications where applicable.
  • Availability to work assigned shift schedules based on operational needs.
  • Ability to complete two weeks of in-person training at the company’s headquarters in Carlsbad, California.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
Benefits
  • Hourly compensation ranging from $23–$26 per hour.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • 401(k) company contribution program.
  • Professional development opportunities and training reimbursements.
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced technology-driven logistics environment.
  • Career growth opportunities with a clear advancement path toward senior operational roles.
  • Collaborative team culture focused on innovation, ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
