How you will make an impact:

As a Level 2 System Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our global IT infrastructure. You will independently manage core systems administration activities, provide advanced technical support, and ensure critical systems remain secure, updated, and optimized. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to infrastructure roadmaps, vulnerability remediation, and technology improvement initiatives that support business continuity and operational efficiency. Your expertise will help strengthen the scalability, resilience, and security of IT services across the organization.

• Administer and maintain Windows operating systems and hypervisors.

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.

• Monitor and ensure information security tools are implemented and active.

• Support the deployment and configuration of new systems and applications.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and backup testing.

• Maintain and improve documentation for IT processes and system configurations.

• Contribute to Windows Server upgrade roadmaps, vulnerability management, and system patching initiatives.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 3-6 years of experience in systems administration.

• Proficiency in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and system permissions management.

• Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

• Experience with patch management tools such as MECM, Ivanti, or PDQ, and virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure Virtual Infrastructure.

• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting security software and Windows Server operating systems, combined with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred:

• ITIL Foundation certification.

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or equivalent certification.

• Project management experience.

The salary range for this role is €37,000 - €41,000 annually. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
