This is a senior leadership role at the forefront of enterprise AI innovation, focused on building and scaling advanced Generative AI capabilities across a large analytics platform. The position drives the design and deployment of LLM-powered systems that improve fraud detection, automate decision-making, and optimize customer workflows. You will define the technical vision for AI engineering, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and responsibly governed. The role combines strategic leadership with deep technical oversight, requiring close collaboration with product, engineering, and UX teams. You will lead and grow a high-performing AI engineering organization, shaping both talent strategy and execution excellence. This is a highly impactful role where AI is directly tied to real-world financial and operational outcomes at scale.
In this role, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of advanced AI systems while building a high-performing engineering organization.
- Lead, mentor, and grow AI engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Define and execute AI/ML technical strategy aligned with product and business priorities
- Design and deploy LLM-powered solutions for decision automation, fraud detection, and process optimization
- Establish best practices for model evaluation, governance, compliance, and responsible AI usage
- Build robust systems for model monitoring, A/B testing, backtesting, and drift detection in production environments
- Partner cross-functionally with product, UX, and engineering leaders to deliver cohesive AI-driven user experiences
This role requires deep technical expertise in AI/ML combined with strong leadership experience in building and scaling engineering teams.
- 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or machine learning, including leadership roles
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing AI or ML engineering teams
- Strong hands-on expertise with Large Language Models, including fine-tuning and in-context learning
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks, monitoring systems, and production-grade ML pipelines
- Deep understanding of model governance, compliance, security, and responsible AI practices
- Experience with A/B testing, backtesting, and model drift detection in production systems
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to align technical execution to business goals
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field
- Thought leadership (publications, patents, or open-source contributions) is a plus
