This is a strategic commercial leadership opportunity within the bioprocessing and life sciences sector, focused on driving growth and market expansion for advanced resin solutions across the EMEA region. The role combines commercial strategy, customer engagement, forecasting, and cross-functional leadership to support innovative therapies and biopharmaceutical advancements. Working in a highly collaborative and international environment, you will partner with sales, supply chain, finance, and product teams to maximize business performance and customer satisfaction. This position offers strong visibility within the commercial leadership team and the chance to influence key decisions across a rapidly evolving market. The role is fully remote and involves regular travel across EMEA, making it ideal for a commercially driven leader who thrives in dynamic and customer-focused environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead commercial growth initiatives for the bioprocess resins portfolio across the EMEA region, driving order intake, revenue performance, and market penetration.
  • Establish and manage operational processes with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, commercial operations, supply chain, and controllership to optimize forecasting accuracy and backlog management.
  • Support and coach commercial teams on strategic customer engagement, pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and complex sales opportunities.
  • Drive design-in activities for resin solutions by building strong relationships with customers and identifying long-term business opportunities.
  • Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts while monitoring sales performance, margins, and market share development.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on downstream chromatography resins, customer applications, industry trends, and competitive positioning, sharing market insights with product management teams.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align commercial execution with operational capabilities and customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial or sales experience within the biopharma or life sciences industry.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience managing teams, projects, or regional commercial initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of bioprocessing technologies and chromatography resin applications within the biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Proven ability to manage forecasting, commercial strategy, and customer negotiations in a complex international environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with BI and CRM platforms such as Qlik and Salesforce.com is considered an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across the EMEA region.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
