Join a high-impact cloud transformation environment where you’ll help organizations modernize complex infrastructures and accelerate their adoption of AWS technologies. This role is ideal for an experienced cloud engineer who thrives on designing scalable migration strategies, automating deployment workflows, and delivering secure, enterprise-grade cloud solutions. You will work on end-to-end migration initiatives across assessment, mobilization, and modernization phases while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote setting. If you are passionate about cloud architecture, operational excellence, and solving large-scale technical challenges, this opportunity provides the flexibility and autonomy to make a measurable impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end AWS cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, mobilization, migration, and modernization activities.
  • Design scalable and secure target-state cloud architectures aligned with operational, compliance, and performance requirements.
  • Conduct migration assessments, application dependency mapping, workload analysis, and wave planning for enterprise environments.
  • Implement and manage AWS-native migration services such as AWS Migration Hub, Application Migration Service (MGN), DMS, and related tooling.
  • Develop automation frameworks and Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible, and Python scripting.
  • Support cloud cost optimization initiatives through TCO analysis, modernization planning, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Produce technical documentation, migration runbooks, and architecture artifacts to support implementation and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams while mentoring peers on migration best practices and cloud transformation strategies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering, migration projects, or cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) methodologies, including Assess, Mobilize, and Migrate & Modernize phases.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, VPC, EBS, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible, and AWS SDKs.
  • Strong knowledge of migration discovery, portfolio assessment, dependency mapping, and migration wave planning.
  • Experience designing AWS Landing Zones and secure cloud environments for enterprise or public sector workloads.
  • Solid Python scripting and automation capabilities for cloud operations and migration workflows.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
  • Ability to manage technical documentation, operational optimization, and modernization planning in fast-paced environments.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote contract opportunity with flexible work arrangements.
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise and public sector cloud transformation projects.
  • Opportunity to work with advanced AWS migration and modernization technologies.
  • Collaborative and technically driven work environment.
  • High-impact role with autonomy and ownership over cloud migration initiatives.
  • Exposure to modern DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Continuous learning opportunities in cloud architecture and operational optimization.
