Job Description
The Rail Scheduling Analyst is a critical planning and operations role that supports the delivery of safe, reliable, and customer-focused PATH rail service. This position develops the operating schedules, timetable products, service-context schedules, and schedule adjustments that drive day-to-day train operations, planned service changes, maintenance windows, capital work, and emergency response. Because the scheduling products produced in this role directly shape the service customers’ experience, the position requires strong analytical ability, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of how schedule decisions affect the passenger experience.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey anticipates that the actual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on aspects such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal factors. The expected compensation range for this role is: Salary Range: $87,386 - $139,828 In accordance with Port Authority policy, this position permits employees to work remotely a maximum of one day per week. In person collaboration is essential to how the Port Authority conducts business, and regular in-office days or team collaboration days may be required on business needs.
