This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of payments, platform architecture, and user experience innovation within a rapidly scaling professional services technology ecosystem. You will define and own the end-to-end product strategy for payment infrastructure and customer-facing payment experiences, shaping how firms and their clients interact with money movement at scale. The role spans both platform foundations—such as routing, settlement, compliance, and fraud prevention—and the UX layers that drive adoption, conversion, and retention. You will operate as a key cross-functional leader, aligning Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Finance, and Go-To-Market teams around a unified payments vision. Success in this role directly translates into increased payment volume, improved collection efficiency, and stronger customer trust. This is a rare opportunity to build at scale while leveraging modern technologies, including AI, to redefine financial workflows for professional services.
- Own the end-to-end payments product strategy and multi-year roadmap across platform capabilities and customer-facing payment experiences.
- Lead development of core payment infrastructure, including merchant onboarding, billing, invoicing, routing, settlement, and compliance systems.
- Design and evolve scalable platform architecture supporting secure, reliable, and efficient money movement.
- Drive adoption and optimization of payment workflows that improve conversion, reduce friction, and increase payment volume.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Experience teams to deliver measurable business impact.
- Ensure robust fraud prevention, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all payment products.
- Translate strategic vision into incremental delivery plans aligned with business outcomes and customer needs.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership to align on priorities, trade-offs, and long-term direction.
- Continuously improve product performance through data-driven iteration and experimentation.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years leading payments, fintech, or financial services products.
- Deep expertise in payment systems, including processing, settlement, compliance, fraud prevention, and financial infrastructure.
- Proven ability to define product vision and translate it into scalable, executable long-term roadmaps.
- Strong track record of driving adoption and digitization in environments with behavioral or structural resistance to change.
- Experience in B2B SaaS environments serving SMB to enterprise customers; exposure to professional services is a plus.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence engineering, design, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience building platform products and end-to-end user experiences in complex technical ecosystems.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure impact.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to align stakeholders around complex product strategies.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonuses, and potential equity participation.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, including fully company-paid options for employees.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
- Flexible Time Off policy, paid holidays, and parental leave programs.
- Wellness support including stipends, mental health resources, and nutrition coaching.
- Learning and development programs, leadership training, and professional growth funding.
- Volunteer programs, charitable giving match, and paid time off for community service.
- Hybrid engagement opportunities including virtual and in-person team events and recognition programs.
- Inclusive and collaborative culture focused on learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
