This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Consultant - ServiceNow ITAM in India.
This role is focused on delivering end-to-end ServiceNow IT Asset Management solutions within complex enterprise environments. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ITAM capabilities, with a strong emphasis on Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management processes. The position involves working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions, ensuring strong alignment between CMDB and asset data. You will also contribute to integration design with enterprise tools and support automation across asset lifecycle workflows. The role combines hands-on technical implementation with advisory responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both development and solution architecture. You will operate in a collaborative, delivery-driven environment with exposure to Agile practices and cross-functional teams.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow ITAM solutions, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules.
- Manage full asset lifecycle processes including procurement, onboarding, allocation, transfer, tracking, and disposal within ServiceNow.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into scalable ITAM solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Design and implement integrations with external systems such as SCCM, Intune, JAMF, procurement tools, and discovery platforms using REST, SOAP, APIs, and MID Server.
- Ensure accurate asset data governance and maintain strong alignment between CMDB records and asset repositories.
- Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer automations supporting ITAM processes.
- Perform data quality audits, reconciliation, and health checks to ensure integrity of asset and configuration data.
- Support SAM Pro and HAM Pro implementation activities, including licensing, normalization, and content library management.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint execution activities.
- Provide secondary support for ITSM and other ServiceNow modules as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, with deep focus on Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Solid experience in asset lifecycle management processes within enterprise environments.
- Strong integration experience using REST, SOAP, APIs, and MID Server configurations.
- Good understanding of CMDB structure, configuration item relationships, and data governance practices.
- Experience working with enterprise tools such as SCCM, Intune, JAMF, and other endpoint management systems.
- Strong scripting skills in JavaScript and familiarity with Glide APIs.
- Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub within ServiceNow.
- Exposure to ITSM and other ServiceNow modules is an advantage.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-HAM, or CIS-SAM are highly preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
