This leadership role sits at the intersection of technical project delivery, customer engagement, and team development within the data center and electrical infrastructure space. You will guide a team of project managers overseeing high-impact programs for hyperscale and enterprise customers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strict technical requirements. The position involves close collaboration with sales, engineering, services, and factory operations, as well as direct engagement with major end users and contractors. You will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, improving execution processes, and driving financial and operational performance. Operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, you will influence strategic decisions while ensuring consistent project excellence. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in complex, large-scale technical ecosystems and customer-facing environments.
In this role, you will lead a team of project managers while ensuring the successful execution of complex data center programs, driving both operational excellence and customer satisfaction across multiple stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team of project managers focused on delivering value to hyperscale and enterprise customers
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, financial performance, and compliance with internal processes and policies
- Drive technical and commercial decision-making, including product configuration, pricing negotiations, and scope changes
- Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, factory, and field service teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Manage escalations, customer claims, and financial accounts while maintaining strong executive-level customer relationships
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, digital tool adoption, and operational efficiency
- Support strategic planning efforts and contribute to long-term growth initiatives within key market segments
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to support business expansion
This role requires strong leadership experience in project management within the electrical, data center, or infrastructure sectors, along with the ability to manage complex technical and commercial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering degree preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical industry project management, field sales, or related technical leadership roles
- Proven experience working with hyperscale data center customers and large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, data center power distribution, and project lifecycle execution
- Experience managing teams and developing talent in a technical or project-driven environment
- Ability to handle pricing negotiations, scope changes, and complex customer requirements
- Strong communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
- PMP certification and/or Master’s degree considered a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required
- Must currently reside within 50 miles of an eligible facility (U.S.-based role)
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $168,000
