Your Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-service–oriented Patient Services Representative to join our medical office team. This role is responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and performing a variety of front-office duties including patient check-in/check-out and collection of co-payments and outstanding balances.
What You'll Do:
-Answer and route incoming calls.
-Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar.
-Enter patient demographics in NextGen EPM.
-Verify insurance coverage and collect required payments.
-Scan and upload patient documents to the EHR.
-Obtain signed ABNs for non-covered services.
-Review accounts and collect balances.
-Coordinate patient enrollment in the Patient Portal.
-Greet patients and visitors.
-Ensure all required paperwork is completed and scanned.
-Schedule follow-ups at checkout.
-Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, clients, and staff.
-Follow company policies as well as OSHA and HIPAA standards and guidelines.
-Perform other duties as assigned by physicians or management.
Experience / Education / Licensure Needed:
-Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
-Experience: 2–3 years of healthcare office experience required.
-Licenses/Certifications: None required.
