What You’ll Do
New Business Development
Identify and win new strategic customers in manufacturing, industrial, and engineered products markets
Develop targeted outreach strategies to generate qualified leads and new business opportunities
Build relationships with executive-level stakeholders and decision makers
Full Sales Cycle Ownership
Lead the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery through quoting, negotiation, and closing
Present DRT’s precision manufacturing capabilities and long-term value proposition
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements while balancing profitability goals
Pipeline & Growth Strategy
Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within Salesforce CRM
Drive revenue growth while maintaining focus on margins and operational capacity
Expand DRT’s market presence and establish long-term customer partnerships
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams
Support customer solutions aligned with manufacturing capabilities and business objectives
Help position DRT as a trusted manufacturing and precision solutions partner
What We’re Looking For
Sales & Business Development Experience
7+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, strategic accounts, or technical sales
Proven success generating and closing new business opportunities
Strong hunter mentality with the ability to build a pipeline from scratch
Manufacturing & Technical Background
Experience selling within manufacturing, industrial, precision machining, or engineered product environments
Understanding of technical sales cycles and complex manufacturing operations
OEM or engineered-to-order manufacturing experience preferred
Leadership & Communication Skills
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
Executive presence with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders
Ability to work cross-functionally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Additional Qualifications
Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce preferred
Ability to travel as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
