  • Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), industrial hygiene assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver safety training programs, toolbox talks, and certification sessions for employees and supervisors.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures to reduce workplace risks.
  • Manage safety documentation, corrective action reports, injury records, compliance postings, and training records.
  • Oversee the selection, maintenance, and proper use of PPE and safety equipment while reinforcing safe work practices.
  • Collaborate with management teams and employees to foster a preventative, safety-first culture throughout operations.
  • Monitor work environments, equipment, and operational processes to ensure adherence to safety standards and customer expectations.
  • Support continuous operational improvement through regular reporting, safety communication, and enforcement of company safety policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of safety management or supervisory experience within structural steel fabrication, machine work, manufacturing, or related industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of EH&S regulations and advanced safety procedures including HAZCOM, Lock-Out/Tag-Out, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Fire Protection, and Respiratory Protection.
  • Experience conducting safety audits, industrial hygiene assessments, accident investigations, and compliance reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead training sessions and deliver effective presentations in both classroom and hands-on environments.
  • Certifications or experience operating industrial equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, telescopic forklifts, and man lifts.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to maintain certification requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding industrial settings, including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.
  • Overtime pay available after 40 hours worked per week.
  • Opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art fabrication and manufacturing facility.
  • Exposure to advanced industrial equipment and large-scale structural projects.
  • Career growth opportunities within a safety-focused industrial organization.
  • Hands-on leadership role with meaningful operational impact.
  • Collaborative team environment committed to continuous improvement and employee well-being.
