Airport Parking Manager

The Spirit of the Position:

The Airport Parking Manager oversees the operations at Florence Regional Airport, under the direction of the airport management and senior management to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. The Parking Manager will have overall responsibility for the implementation and enforcement of operational, safety, personnel, customer service, and maintenance procedures related to the Parking System services. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Parking Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout Florence Regional Airport.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Ensure contract compliance and service levels meet expectations.
  • Ensure proper management and achievement of audit scores, accounts receivable collection, budget attainment and implementation of new technology.
  • Implement and manage safety and security programs and/or initiatives.
  • Develop a strategic business plan and direction for scope of contract.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreements between LAZ Parking and our clients.
  • Primary Contact: S/he will serve as the primary contact for operations. All questions and issues should be directed to the Manager for follow-up.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Ensuring that increased revenue, managed expenses, and customer satisfaction is maximized by maintaining the highest level of service thresholds and initiatives that are aligned with the expectations of our various clients.
  • Managing, planning, scheduling, training, and directing the activities of Operations Managers and staff.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation.
  • Review and edit proposed parking, maintenance, etc. agreements.
  • Communicate with local police department and emergency management teams regarding operations as needed.
  • Organize and manage the oversight of Customer service and parking lot cleanliness.
  • Implementation and completion of other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation.
  • Ensure coverage of scheduled shifts.
  • Submit and report Parcs maintenance tickets and manage communication with Parcs vendor until resolved.
  • Maintain equipment stocked with tickets and receipt paper. Maintain parking equipment clean and presentable.
  • Manage vendor invoices and process for Payment in Doclink.
  • Additional related duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • 3+ year in management role.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Parking management experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with financial statement/accounting, P&L reports, and budgeting.
  • Ability to be flexible in schedule to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.

  • English language ability of ILR 5 in Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading.

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
