This role sits at the center of clinical trial execution, ensuring that high-quality, reliable data supports the development of life-changing therapies. You will lead end-to-end clinical data management activities across multiple studies, working closely with study teams, CROs, and external vendors in a fast-paced, science-driven environment. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, covering study start-up, data quality, reconciliation, and database lock. You will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and inspection readiness while enabling timely delivery of clinical insights. Operating in a highly collaborative setting, you will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to maintain data integrity across systems and studies. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone passionate about advancing clinical research through rigorous data excellence.
- Lead clinical data management activities across multiple studies from study start-up through database lock and archiving, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of all outputs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for study teams, CROs, and external data vendors, coordinating data flow, issue resolution, and study deliverables.
- Oversee data quality review, validation processes, coding activities, reconciliation, and database closure activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review and approve key study documentation, including data management plans, specifications, and related regulatory documents.
- Ensure inspection readiness by maintaining compliant documentation in eTMF and aligning processes with regulatory standards.
- Manage data transfers and integration across systems, ensuring consistency and integrity across clinical data sources.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align timelines, resolve risks, and support overall study execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 8+ years of clinical data management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11 and ICH-GCP guidelines.
- Proven experience leading clinical studies and managing or mentoring data management teams.
- Deep understanding of clinical data management processes, standards, and end-to-end study lifecycle activities.
- Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM) certification strongly preferred or equivalent industry-recognized certification.
- Experience in people management, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
