The Nox Cloud Platform was designed to connect all the different groups that are involved in a person's sleep health care, that involves the individual (Population), Payers, and Providers.
Nox is expanding the use of the Nox Cloud infrastructure beyond the initial SleepCharge (Nox Health Enterprise business), and at the same time making the necessary changes to enhance the user experience for each of the user groups. This includes creating dedicated access and plans for each group.
To support the ongoing rollout of Nox products and services into all the different product lines, Nox will augment its Experience & Delivery team with a Technical Writer.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Release Manager to join our Cloud Operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for defining, governing, and executing the release lifecycle for Nox Health’s growing suite of Cloud/SaaS software and regulated medical devices. You will orchestrate feature-based releases across multiple environments and product lines, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. Acting as the central coordination point between Cloud and Medical product teams, engineering, and operations, you will drive seamless, reliable updates to the Nox Cloud platform teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate cross-functional releases between Cloud and Medical product teams to ensure alignment and dependencies management.
- Manage complex version configurations, enabling multiple versions of medical devices and software to be configurable per tenant/customer.
- Oversee and audit deployments across multiple environments, ensuring environment stability and successful builds.
- Ensure all releases strictly adhere to regulatory, end-to-end testing, and documentation requirements, particularly for medical device software (SaMD).
- Manage the end-to-end mobile application release process, including submissions to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store Connect.
- Drive continuous improvement of release tooling, automation, and reporting to support frequent, reliable, and transparent deployments.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end post-release governance process, proactively identifying areas for improvement, aligning with relevant NOX teams, and ensuring continuous enhancement of release quality, operational efficiency, and stakeholder communication.
- 5+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, or Software Project Management, with a focus on SaaS and Cloud-native applications.
- Proven experience managing software releases within a highly regulated environment (e.g., Healthcare, Medical Devices, or ISO 13485/IEC 62304 standards).
- Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and automation frameworks to support frequent, reliable deployments.
- Experience coordinating complex release plans across distributed, cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with feature-flagging strategies and tenant-level configuration management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead technical workshops and scoping sessions.
- Familiarity with healthcare technology, regulated environments, or sleep diagnostics.
- Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar backlog management systems.
- Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
