Location: Redmond
Compensation: $35.81/hour-Exempt, (Plus $0.50/hour for Spanish Bilingual ability),
Hours: Regular full-time (40 hours/week), subject to normal school furloughs

NeighborImpact Head Start Overview
The Head Start and Early Head Start program strengthens families and closes the achievement gap for over 500 of Central Oregon’s most vulnerable and at-risk children aged 0-5 and pregnant mothers. Head Start/Early Head Start integrates high-quality early education and family engagement with other critical services.
Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Center Based Site Coordinator will coach, mentor, supervise, and train assigned site staff. They will ensure assigned site(s) meets requirements of Head Start Performance Standards, Oregon Child Care Licensing and Quality Rating Improvement System. This position also collaborates with Content Area Coordinator/Manager’s around service delivery, assuring comprehensive service delivery integration and documentation. They also function as liaison and information conduit between the site staff and Head Start Leadership and participate as a member of Head Start Leadership team. This is an in person, onsite position.
Requirements:Required
- Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field required, AND
- A minimum of 35 college quarter credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related classes. Diploma and transcripts are required to validate Early Childhood Education/Related field and to verify ECE/Social Services related coursework.
- Three years of experience in early childhood care and education required
- Frequent kneeling, stooping, bending, and sitting on the floor to attend to children’s needs. This position is rated as active and occasionally requires the individual to lift 50 pounds
- Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment:
o Valid driver’s license
o Proof of current auto insurance
o Food Handler’s Card
o Access to reliable transportation
o Current enrollment in the OR Child Care Division-Central Background Registry (CBR)
- Within 60 days of hire:
o Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification is required
- Within 90 days of hire:
o Must be able to attain Teaching Strategies GOLD reliability within 90 days
o Must be able to attain CLASS reliability within 90 days and maintain reliability
- Above certifications must be kept current to remain employed
- Must have an initial health examination, and a periodic re-examination (as recommended by health care provider) so as to assure that employees do not because of communicable diseases, pose a significant risk to the health or safety of others, that cannot be eliminated or reduced by reasonable accommodation.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- Three years progressively responsible professional experience with demonstrated experience in administration and supervision preferred
