Lifecycle Marketing Lead

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Lead in Canada.

This role is an exciting opportunity to own and optimize the entire customer lifecycle within a fast-growing SaaS environment. You will drive engagement, activation, retention, and expansion strategies across multiple channels, helping transform customer insights into measurable business outcomes. Combining creativity, technical expertise, and data-driven decision-making, you will build and execute sophisticated lifecycle campaigns that support customers throughout their journey. Working closely with Revenue, Growth, Product Marketing, Content, and Data teams, you will play a critical role in shaping customer experiences and accelerating revenue growth. This position is highly hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys building, testing, and optimizing campaigns directly. If you thrive in a collaborative, high-growth environment and are passionate about customer engagement, this role offers significant impact and career growth potential.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and continuously optimize the customer lifecycle strategy, identifying key opportunities to improve activation, engagement, retention, and expansion.
  • Design, build, and manage multi-channel lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, in-app messaging, sales sequences, and automated nurture flows.
  • Leverage customer behavior data, segmentation strategies, and experimentation frameworks to improve campaign performance and customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Revenue, Product Marketing, Content, and Data teams to align messaging, customer journeys, and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute A/B tests, analyze campaign results, and implement ongoing optimizations based on performance insights.
  • Ensure accurate customer data, campaign tracking, and reporting infrastructure to support personalization and automation efforts.
  • Monitor key lifecycle metrics including activation, engagement, retention, churn, upsell, and expansion, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to improve campaign execution, content creation, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, marketing automation, or related roles within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven success building and executing cross-channel customer journeys from strategy through implementation.
  • Experience supporting both product-led growth and sales-assisted customer acquisition and expansion motions.
  • Hands-on expertise with marketing automation and customer engagement platforms such as HubSpot, Amplitude, Pendo, Customer.io, or similar tools.
  • Deep understanding of email, SMS, in-app messaging, customer segmentation, experimentation, and conversion optimization best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate behavioral and product usage data into actionable lifecycle strategies.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance marketing productivity, campaign optimization, and content development.
  • Experience with HTML for email development, predictive lifecycle modeling, or advanced customer segmentation is considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with SMB customer journeys and high-volume sales funnels is advantageous.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from CAD $110,000 to $120,000 annually.
  • Flexible paid time off policy.
  • One company-designated Friday off per month.
  • Company-wide paid holiday shutdown between Christmas and New Year's.
  • Comprehensive healthcare and dental coverage with employer-paid premiums.
  • RRSP/401(k) matching program.
  • Generous parental leave policy.
  • Annual company retreat and team-building experiences.
  • Learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Home office setup stipend.
  • Internet and phone allowance.
  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility and autonomy.
  • Weekly payroll schedule.
