| Position Summary: | Join UDRI’s procurement team and play a key role in acquiring the materials, equipment, and services that support impactful research and innovation. This is an opportunity to lead strategic sourcing efforts, negotiate best-value solutions, ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations and university policies, and collaborate with stakeholders across the institute to keep critical projects moving forward. Responsible for requesting material, equipment and service in compliance with Federal Government acquisition regulations and guidance and in accordance with University policies and procedures. Responsibilities include acquiring and analyzing specifications (design drawings, SOWs, specifications, etc.); identifying and rationalizing source(s) including developing RFPs and RFQs; obtaining and analyzing quotes; negotiation; best-value-analysis; completing necessary budgetary reviews and adjustments; and input and tracking of requisitions in an eProcurement environment. |

| Minimum Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field. |
| Preferred Qualifications: | While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: Two years purchasing related experience. |
