Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building structure while handling day-to-day HR work? If so, this role may be for you.
We’re hiring a hands-on (player – coach) HR Manager to guide the organization through growth and change while owning HR operations. This is a working manager role: you will do it all including lead, build, and execute.

What You’ll Own
- Lead HR through growth, acquisitions, and integrations while keeping daily operations running smoothly
- In the future, build, develop, and mentor a strong HR team while staying engaged in day-to-day work
- Own core HR functions, including:
- Employee onboarding, including background and drug screen review
- Employee relations and coordination of legal matters
- Employment law compliance
- DOT Driver Qualification and FMCSA compliance
- Workers’ Compensation and OSHA-required reporting
- Payroll processing and compliance
- Benefits administration, broker management, and open enrollment
- 401(k) administration and annual audits
- HR metrics, analysis, and reporting
- Performance Management development and tracking

Requirements:Qualifications and Experience
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Human Resources lead experience, with strong emphasis in:
- Payroll administration
- Benefits management
- 401(k) administration
- Leave of absence management (FMLA and related programs)
- Recruiting and hiring
- Managing or supervising HR staff
- Worker’s Compensation management, OSHA reporting
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and payroll tax regulations.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to develop clear procedures and documentation.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems (Paylocity preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience in a service-based, event, hospitality, logistics, or multi-location environment.
- Experience supporting a workforce with a mix of corporate and operational employees.
- Experience managing Workers’ Compensation programs and OSHA compliance, particularly in warehouse, logistics, event production, or similar operational environments.
Physical & Work Environment
- Primarily an office-based role with occasional visits to warehouses or operational environments.
- Will require extended work hours during peak event seasons or major company initiatives.
