Accountabilities
  • Lead the operational and financial performance of a multi-market regional portfolio, ensuring profitability, guest satisfaction, operational consistency, and partner success.
  • Develop and execute regional business plans that align strategic objectives with property-level execution while driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and long-term asset value.
  • Oversee, coach, and develop Area Directors, General Managers, and regional leadership teams, fostering accountability, high performance, and continuous professional development.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Revenue Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Guest Experience, Real Estate, and Product to implement scalable operational initiatives and commercial strategies.
  • Strengthen relationships with ownership groups and strategic partners by providing clear business updates, financial insights, and proactive performance management.
  • Establish operational frameworks, quality standards, and performance metrics that improve guest experiences, increase efficiency, optimize costs, and support sustainable portfolio growth.
  • Identify operational risks, implement process improvements, drive organizational transformation, and create scalable systems capable of supporting future expansion across multiple property types.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience within hotel operations, hospitality management, hotel asset management, or multi-site service organizations.
  • Previous General Manager experience with direct property-level P&L responsibility in a full-service or select-service hotel environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading geographically distributed teams across multiple locations while achieving operational, financial, and guest satisfaction objectives.
  • Strong expertise in hospitality operations, revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and financial performance analysis.
  • Deep understanding of hotel performance metrics, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue optimization, and operational quality standards.
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams through effective hiring, coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Experience managing relationships with property owners, investors, or institutional partners while communicating financial performance and strategic priorities.
  • Excellent executive communication, business planning, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex operational environments.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience balancing guest experience, operational excellence, profitability, and long-term business growth.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60% or more to support regional operations and provide visible leadership across multiple markets.
  • MBA or equivalent graduate education, experience in technology-enabled hospitality, and exposure to portfolio-level operations are considered valuable assets.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $143,000–$180,000 USD, based on experience, market, and qualifications.
  • Eligibility for performance-based bonus, equity awards, and additional incentive programs.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage for eligible employees.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Flexible paid time off for full-time exempt employees.
  • Travel credits for complimentary stays and discounted accommodations for friends and family.
  • Remote work flexibility with the opportunity to work from various locations while supporting a national portfolio.
  • Home office stipend, Wi-Fi reimbursement, mobile phone reimbursement, and additional work-from-home benefits for eligible employees.
  • Generous stock option program supporting long-term ownership and career growth.
  • Collaborative, technology-driven culture focused on innovation, operational excellence, leadership development, and continuous improvement.
