About the Role

Happy To Help Caregiving is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our growing team serving Pocatello, Chubbuck, Inkom, Fort Hall, and surrounding Southeast Idaho communities.

As a caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one, non-medical support that allows seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities to continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to improve someone's quality of life while building meaningful relationships based on trust, kindness, and respect.

Whether you're an experienced caregiver or someone with a genuine passion for helping others, we provide the support and training you need to succeed.

What You'll Do

Each client's needs are unique. Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
  • Preparing meals and snacks based on client preferences and dietary needs
  • Performing light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, changing linens, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean, safe home
  • Providing medication reminders according to the care plan (no handling or administering medications)
  • Assisting with walking, transfers, repositioning, and mobility support
  • Providing transportation to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and community outings
  • Offering respite care to support family caregivers
  • Following individualized care plans and accurately documenting services provided
  • Reporting changes in a client's condition or needs to the office promptly
  • Promoting each client's dignity, independence, routines, and personal preferences

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who are caring, reliable, professional, and committed to providing exceptional in-home care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions
  • Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude

Preferred

  • Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, assisted living, CNA, or customer service experience

No previous caregiving experience is required. We value compassion, reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

Position Details

  • Location: Pocatello, Chubbuck, Inkom, Fort Hall, and surrounding Southeast Idaho communities
  • Schedule: Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities available, including days, evenings, weekends, and overnights
  • Type: Non-medical, in-home caregiving
  • Setting: One-on-one care provided in private residences
