Job Description
Marketing Executive
Support the delivery of the organisation's marketing strategy by creating engaging content, increasing brand awareness and driving customer engagement across multiple channels. Responsibilities include:
§ Plan, create and schedule engaging content across 15 social media channels, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, commercial objectives and brand guidelines.
§ Manage and develop the social media content calendar, monitoring performance and recommending improvements based on insights.
§ Coordinate, administer and evaluate the influencer marketing programme, building relationships that increase reach and engagement.
§ Liaise with brand partners to ensure collaborative content delivers against agreed objectives and brand expectations.
Email Marketing
Develop and deliver effective email marketing campaigns that encourage customer retention, increase engagement and generate repeat business.
Responsibilities include:
§ Create compelling email copy and manage the delivery of the email marketing programme.
§ Monitor campaign performance, using data to improve open rates, click-through rates, conversions and attributable revenue.
§ Support the growth and maintenance of customer databases, ensuring compliance with GDPR and best practice.
Digital Advertising & Website Management
§ Support the optimisation of digital sales channels to maximise ticket sales, holiday bookings and other commercial opportunities.
§ Work alongside external agencies and digital specialists to deliver best practice across paid digital marketing.
§ Coordinate the production and delivery of digital advertising assets, ensuring deadlines are met.
§ Monitor campaign performance, producing regular reports with actionable recommendations.
§ Maintain accurate and up-to-date website content, ensuring guest information, promotional messaging and third-party listings remain current and accurate.
Marketing, PR & Partnerships
Build strong internal and external relationships to enhance brand awareness and support business growth.
§ Support PR activity by monitoring media opportunities and providing timely information to the appointed PR agency.
§ Draft and distribute local press releases to generate positive media coverage.
§ Represent the organisation at local tourism and industry events, developing relationships with key stakeholders.
§ Ensure customer communications across all marketing channels are engaging, consistent and reflect the brand's tone of voice.
§ Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple business areas.
§ Assist in developing and managing strategic partnerships, including influencers, brand collaborations and promotional partners.
Sales & Commercial Support
§ Work collaboratively across departments to support commercial objectives and deliver measurable business growth.
§ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement marketing initiatives across ticketing, holidays, retail, food and beverage, media and corporate revenue streams.
§ Support the delivery of marketing plans designed to achieve revenue and visitor growth through customer insight and data analysis.
§ Analyse marketing performance across digital, sales, PR and content activity, providing reports and recommendations to inform future campaigns.
§ Identify and support opportunities to generate additional revenue through content partnerships, affiliate marketing, brand collaborations and merchandising.
