Director Ancillary Service in Hybrid - Preference for Indianapolis, Indiana at IMPACT TRASH SOLUTIONS LLC

HYBRID ROLE Working from either a home-based office, or field or office location depending upon needs. The role is ultimately responsible for service delivery teams (vendors or employees) across a given geography. The DAS will ensure client satisfaction through robust processes leading to consistent delivery of requested services (i.e. bulk waste collection, trash room cleans, etc), unequaled communication and best in class follow up to both internal and external customers.

Operations Management

• Full operationalization of all service delivery components.
• Ensure all vendor contracting processes are completed.
• Platform the enterprise businesses (ERP, operational dashboard, vendor mgmt. software) and integrate with existing platforms (Zoho CRM, proprietary operational app, etc)
• Set and manage pricing rates and compliance for Ancillary Services.
• Complete required administrative functions and reports.
• Create operational process training for smooth geographic expansion.
• Client Service and Support
• Create and maintain excellent working relationships and frequent communication with internal and external customers or vendors.
• Improve billing cadence and vendor invoicing.
• Support Sales team members with equivalent response, including attending sales meetings for updates, training and new market roll out information.
• Collaborate on selling efforts/methods to ensure overall sales goal achievement.
• Vendor Management
• Forecast need for service vendors based on growth or geographic expansion.
• Create cadence for internalization of services at critical mass.
• Coordinate timely order and delivery of service trucks to facilitate internalization efforts.
• Set clear expectations and monitor performance. (KPI/SLA creation and tracking)
• Ensure all vendor credentialing is completed prior to beginning of work.

• 5+ years demonstrated experience in a leadership/management role required.
• Working knowledge of operational processes, including budget management required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and promptly respond to questions from internal and external customers.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, Google, CRM, FSM Platform(s) and virtual meeting platforms.
• Experience operating, servicing or managing multiple locations strongly preferred.
• Experience with multiple vendors/independent contractors strongly preferred.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills including ability to establish rapport, respond immediately to service issues and effectively negotiate as needed.
• Ability to coordinate efforts and set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
• Ability to perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands.
• Unwavering work ethic, integrity and sense of accountability.
• Ability to lead others.
