PRN MLS/MLT Residency - Lab-Core in Lima, Ohio at Lima Memorial Health System

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, and policies and procedures, the MLS/MLT Resident processes specimens for analysis in accordance with defined standard operating procedures, performs waived and moderate complexity testing according to CLIA-88 Standards under direct supervision, performs blood collection, manages reagent inventory, performs daily equipment maintenance, departmental cleaning and decontamination and other duties as directed by the department supervisor. This job is not measured with age specific criteria.

Education: Bachelors of Science in biology, chemistry, or physical science and/or enrolled in a NACCLS (National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science) accredited Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Laboratory Technology program from an affiliated institution.

Skills: Must have excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required. Excellent personality when dealing with patients and staff.
