Packaging Associate
Department: Operations
Reports To: Packaging Line Leader
Location: Auburn, NY
Shift: 1st Shift
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, $16.50 per hour

As a Packaging Associate, you'll be an essential part of that team—helping package quality products that families have enjoyed for generations.

What You'll Be Doing
Every package tells our story of quality. You'll help make sure every product leaves our facility ready for store shelves by:
• Reviewing production information in HAWK before each product run.
• Verifying purchase order numbers, date codes, and case label placement.
• Confirming the correct packaging materials are used for each production run.
• Operating packaging and filling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Filling product bags while maintaining a steady production pace.
• Performing routine weight checks to ensure product accuracy.
• Inspecting bags for proper seals, appearance, and overall quality.
• Operating labeling equipment and verifying accurate product labeling.
• Making sure bags are properly aligned before sealing.
• Assisting with product changeovers and equipment clean-outs between
production runs.
• Keeping your work area clean, organized, and food-safe.
• Working closely with your teammates to meet production goals while
maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support the production team.

Physical Requirements
• Stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
• Regularly lift, move, or carry up to 60 pounds.
• Work around food products and common food allergens.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all sanitation and
safety procedures.
