Job Description

About the Role

We are a growing post-industrial recycling facility looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our Austell team. This is not just a "paper-pushing" role; we are looking for a strategic thinker who understands the why behind our processes and is eager to help optimize our operations.

As the heartbeat of our office, you will bridge the gap between our logistics, client relations, and internal team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Documentation: Manage all documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for scheduling local transport and ensuring all manifests and bills of lading are accurate.
  • Client Communication: Act as a professional point of contact for clients. You’ll address inquiries regarding shipment status, material quality standards, and pricing with clarity and professionalism.
  • Administrative Excellence: Maintain high proficiency in Microsoft 365, with a heavy emphasis on using Excel to track data and streamline reporting.
  • HR Coordination: Serve as the local point of contact for basic HR requests and maintain a strong, effective line of communication with the HR Manager.
  • Culture Building: Foster a positive work environment. We value someone who genuinely cares about their coworkers and contributes to a supportive atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Education: GED or high school diploma minimum.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to understand industrial processes at a high level rather than just performing repetitive tasks.
  • Project Execution: Demonstrated ability to follow through with projects from start to finish without letting details slip through the cracks.
  • Experience: Previous experience in logistics, office management, or an industrial setting is highly preferred.

Why Join Us?

  • Growth Potential: We believe in promoting from within. This role offers a clear path for advancement as the company continues to scale.
  • Impact: You will play a vital role in a post-industrial recycling plant that is making a tangible difference in sustainable manufacturing.
  • Culture: We pride ourselves on a hardworking but caring environment where every employee is valued.
