Position Description:
About Us
Roth Southeast, a Thermal Concepts company, is a leader in Building Automation Systems, Energy Management Systems, and HVAC Controls. We provide professional service and installation for new construction, retrofits, and maintenance projects.
What You'll Do
- Calibrate sensors and tune control loops to optimize system performance.
- Program, modify, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Perform system backups, database maintenance, and software updates.
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC controls and building automation system issues.
- Replace and reprogram sensors, controllers, and other control devices as needed.
- Install, wire, and integrate new control components and communication devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair communication networks and control wiring.
- Support system upgrades, expansions, startup, and commissioning activities.
- Complete service documentation, including time sheets, expense reports, and field reports.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and quality service.
Position Requirements:
What we are looking for
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC controls.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and IP networks.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in field environments, including rooftops and ladders.
- Experience with BAS platforms such as Schneider, Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Trane.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Technical degree, trade school certificate, or equivalent industry training preferred.
