Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Quality Technician with hands-on technical capabilities to join our team at the Redmond facility. In this role, you will ensure our precision manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and international compliance.

- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured components using precision manual measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, and other standard metrology tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T to verify product conformance.
- Accurately document inspection results, nonconformances, and quality records in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Assist with first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections as required.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues, clarify inspection requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate with customers as needed regarding quality documentation, inspection results, and quality-related inquiries, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
- Support investigations of nonconforming products by documenting findings and assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure measuring tools are calibrated and used in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations and develop CMM programming skills over time. Prior experience is a plus but not required.
- Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience in a Quality, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience using precision manual inspection and measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, and other standard metrology equipment, is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across production, engineering, and quality teams.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality systems, inspection documentation, and basic root cause analysis is preferred.
- Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), or hands-on experience with precision measurement equipment and a willingness to learn CMM operation and programming, is preferred.
- Experience in the aerospace, defense, satellite, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Experience using ERP/MRP systems, quality management software, and Microsoft Office to maintain inspection records and quality documentation is preferred.
