Warehouse Associate in Bronx, New York at TSG Plumbing

Central Plumbing Specialties is an established, plumbing and heating wholesale distributor and retailer in the NYC market since 1963. We have five decorative plumbing fixture and accessory showrooms in NYC, Yonkers & Rockland County. The specialty in ‘Specialties’ — we carry many first-class manufacturers’ products that we keep in our in-depth stock, featuring domestic material. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The perfect candidate is motivated, results-orientated and a team player. We are a dynamic, rapidly growing company and every member of our team plays a vital role within our company. Job Responsibilities:

· Pull, pick, and pack up the customers product to build orders

· Handling customer orders and transaction process from start to finish

· Proactively track orders in computer system for customer and processing efficiency

· Organize and maintain inventory accuracy by physical and ERP system control

· Liaison between Warehouse and sales team on orders to enhance internal communication

· Act as back up to pull, pack, ship, and load orders as required for other Sales team members

· Assist with receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise

· Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas

· Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence

· Pick up items for customer returns.

· Perform facilities maintenance duties to maintain a clean and organized working area

· Consistently practice safety and report opportunities for improvement

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, as well as every other Saturday.

Candidate Profile:

• Required to lift & move at least 50 lbs
• Organized, attentive to detail, ambitious & hardworking
• Capable of the physical demands such as standing, climbing, and carrying heavy loads
• Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet
• Enthusiastic communicator with passion to service customers
• Motivated and highly energetic while displaying a positive demeanor
• Team oriented, open to learning and helping others
• Foster customer relations and build rapport with reoccurring customers
• Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC product and parts is a plus

Experience:

• Warehouse: 3 years (Preferred)
• Prior sales and customer service experience
