Job Summary
The Catering Driver (Non-CDL) is responsible for the safe, timely delivery, on-site support, and pickup of catering equipment, food, and event materials. Drivers may be required to remain on-site during events unless instructed otherwise by management
Key Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles (non-CDL) to deliver and retrieve catering orders safely and on schedule
Load and unload trucks with catering equipment, food, beverages, and event materials
Verify order accuracy before departure, upon arrival, and during breakdown
Remain on-site if necessary for the duration of assigned event
Provide on-site support including setup assistance, adjustments, troubleshooting, and breakdown
Communicate professionally with clients, venue staff, and catering team members
Handle all equipment with care to prevent damage, loss, or misuse
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and loading areas
Report damages, missing items, or operational issues immediately
Assist with warehouse prep, organization, loading, and returns between events as needed
Assist with inventory of products
Schedule & Work Environment
Flexible availability required, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
Events may occur any day of the week; busiest days typically Thursday–Saturday
Shift lengths vary based on event timing, volume, and on-site support needs
Qualifications
Valid drivers license (Non-CDL) with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs repeatedly
Strong reliability, punctuality, and time-management skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Customer-service focused with a professional attitude
Catering, events, delivery, or warehouse experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking
Ability to remain active on-site for extended periods
Comfortable working in fast-paced and high-pressure event environments

Event Policy
Drivers are expected to remain on-site until the event specialist releases them. At times it will be necessary to be onsite for the duration of the event. In that instance you may fill in wherever necessary. This includes serving, kitchen prep or sanitation.
Drivers may only leave an event site if:
They are explicitly instructed to do so by management, or
They are assigned another delivery or pickup run
Leaving an event without authorization is considered a performance issue and may result in disciplinary action. Staying on-site ensures proper event support, protects company equipment, and allows for efficient breakdown and returns.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
