The Senior Associate, Marketing & Growth will lead audience development and lifecycle marketing initiatives designed to increase event registrations, improve audience quality, and build lasting engagement. This role will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leveraging CRM, paid media, automation, and analytics to optimize marketing performance.
- Own lifecycle marketing strategies across audience acquisition, registration, engagement, retention, and repeat attendance.
- Develop automated, behavior-based marketing journeys that personalize the audience experience before, during, and after events.
- Build targeted nurture programs for key audience segments, including subscribers, previous attendees, partners, members, sponsors, and prospective audiences.
- Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, paid social, organic social, newsletters, partner channels, and referral programs.
- Manage paid acquisition campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging channels to drive qualified registrations.
- Optimize campaign performance through audience targeting, creative testing, conversion analysis, and continuous experimentation.
- Own email marketing execution, including campaign calendars, messaging, segmentation, quality assurance, and deployment.
- Develop event communications across the full attendee lifecycle, including invitations, announcements, reminders, event preparation, follow-ups, and retention campaigns.
- Partner with internal teams to align marketing strategies with event objectives, audience needs, and brand positioning.
- Build audience segmentation strategies using behavioral and engagement data to improve targeting and personalization.
- Analyze registration trends, attendance patterns, and audience insights to identify opportunities for growth.
- Create dashboards and recurring reports to track campaign effectiveness, channel performance, conversion rates, and audience engagement.
- Design and execute A/B tests to improve marketing outcomes and optimize audience acquisition.
- Serve as a marketing lead for assigned events, providing updates, recommendations, and strategic insights to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical marketer with experience building audience growth programs, managing lifecycle campaigns, and using data to drive marketing decisions. They should be comfortable balancing strategy and execution while collaborating with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, event marketing, or a related field.
- Experience managing integrated campaigns across email, paid media, and owned marketing channels.
- Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing principles, customer journeys, and marketing automation.
- Proven experience developing audience segmentation and personalization strategies.
- Experience managing paid social campaigns focused on acquisition and conversion growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Sailthru or similar tools preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM and customer data platforms such as HubSpot or Segment preferred.
- Experience using AI tools to improve marketing workflows, personalization, or campaign optimization preferred.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email marketing is a plus.
- Previous experience marketing conferences, live events, media products, or audience-driven businesses is preferred.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $31.25–$38.46 per hour, depending on location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
