Job Description

Part Time Growth Marketing Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Part Time Growth Marketing Specialist based in South Africa.

This is an exciting opportunity for a performance-driven marketer to take ownership of the complete customer acquisition funnel for an innovative education-focused organisation.
You will play a key role in transforming existing market interest into qualified leads, meaningful engagement, and customer conversions.
The role combines paid media, CRM optimisation, automation, funnel strategy, and webinar growth in a high-trust, premium service environment.
You will work closely with leadership to build scalable marketing systems and improve performance through data-driven experimentation.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on growth specialist who enjoys building, testing, and optimising campaigns rather than simply managing strategy.
This flexible remote role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact during an exciting pre-launch and growth phase.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and optimise the full customer acquisition funnel, from initial lead generation through nurture journeys and conversion opportunities.
  • Manage and scale paid performance campaigns across platforms such as Meta Ads, including audience development, campaign optimisation, creative testing, and budget management.
  • Implement and maintain tracking solutions, including Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI), to improve campaign measurement and attribution.
  • Build and optimise marketing automation workflows, including CRM management, email sequences, lead nurturing campaigns, and re-engagement journeys.
  • Create and improve landing pages, lead magnets, webinar registration flows, and conversion-focused customer experiences.
  • Develop and execute webinar and event marketing strategies by driving registrations, improving attendance rates, and increasing qualified consultation opportunities.
  • Monitor marketing performance through weekly reporting on spend, lead generation, cost per qualified lead, webinar metrics, and conversion performance.
  • Provide monthly performance reviews and actionable recommendations based on agreed KPIs and campaign insights.
  • Identify opportunities to expand acquisition channels, including platforms such as Google, YouTube, and TikTok, when supported by performance data.
  • Support organic growth initiatives such as social media engagement, community building, and short-form content where relevant.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, funnel optimisation, or a similar role focused on customer acquisition.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Meta Ads Manager, audience building, campaign optimisation, and paid media performance analysis.
  • Experience implementing and managing tracking tools such as Meta Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI).
  • Demonstrated ability to build marketing systems, automation workflows, and customer journeys independently.
  • Experience managing CRM platforms, email marketing tools, and lead nurture campaigns.
  • Strong direct-response copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling messaging that drives action.
  • Experience working with high-value, considered-purchase, education, or similar customer acquisition models is highly valuable.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance metrics and continuously improve results.
  • Self-management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience with organic social media management, community engagement, or short-form video editing is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple marketing initiatives effectively.
Benefits:
  • Part-time remote position based in South Africa.
  • Flexible schedule of approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Opportunity to play a key role in launching and scaling an innovative education platform.
  • High level of ownership and autonomy over marketing strategy, systems, and execution.
  • Opportunity to work directly on a premium customer acquisition funnel with measurable impact.
  • Collaborative environment with experienced leadership and clear performance objectives.
  • Ability to build and optimise modern growth marketing processes from the ground up.
