Position Summary

The Annuity Operations & Product Specialist is a key member of the NexAnnuity Sales and Operations team, supporting financial professionals, insurance partners, and internal stakeholders across onboarding, licensing and contracting, new business operations, and competitive landscape reporting. This role ensures a seamless advisor experience while upholding accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across all business lines while understanding the products being distributed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Advisor Onboarding & Contracting

  • Own end-to-end onboarding and contracting for financial professionals and agencies, ensuring paperwork accuracy, completeness, and compliance from submission through appointment.
  • Process licensing updates, E&O renewals, EFT changes, and product training certifications, maintaining accurate hierarchy, commission structures, and CRM records.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding and contracting inquiries

Advisor Support & Service

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls, emails, and service requests from advisors, insurance carriers, and internal teams regarding post-issue servicing requests, licensing, contracting, commissions, and product information.
  • Maintain working knowledge of carrier platforms, product offerings, and internal systems to effectively support advisor needs.

Operations & New Business Support

  • Review new business submissions to confirm applications are in good order prior to carrier submission.
  • Monitor transfer statuses, funding requirements, and case progression, following up with operational partners to resolve outstanding requirements.
  • Track and resolve operational exceptions to meet service level expectations.
  • Maintain accurate advisor and case information within CRM and operational systems.

Reporting, Analytics & Competitive Intelligence

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on annuity products, including MYGAs, Fixed Index Annuities, and Single Premium Immediate Annuities, providing product education and support to financial professionals and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze carrier product offerings, rates, and competitive positioning to develop comparative reports and sales materials that highlight key product features, benefits, and market opportunities.
  • Partner with IMO and BD partners, sales teams, and leadership to support product launches, monitor industry trends, and recommend enhancements that improve advisor experience and drive annuity sales growth.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in annuity operations, licensing and contracting, advisor services, or financial services support required
  • Working knowledge of annuity products preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and proactively resolve issues.
  • Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and carrier platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
