Summary/Objective
The Client Billing & Treasury Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of routine functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related financial areas. 

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Engage in client focused communication with airline and hotel partners to facilitate billing process.
  • Maintain aged receivables data and make collection calls as needed.
  • Respond to accounts receivable questions.
  • Compile data, compute fees and charges, and prepare invoices for billing as directed.
  • Identify payment discrepancies and initiate collection or dispute resolution process; perform follow up procedures as needed.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Perform customer payment analysis to properly record actions required to resolve disputed items.
  • Process credit card payments and credits.
  • Resolve billing system issues.
  • Request tax rulings in various destinations as needed.
  • Coordinate and resolve sales tax issues for various destinations.

  • Interest in working with numbers and desire to learn.
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts, including fractions, percentages and ratios.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Discretion and sound judgment.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associates degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 1-3 years accounting/bookkeeping skills preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

The performance of additional responsibilities if you are designated as a Data Protection Champion (DPC), Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) or Information Assurance Accounting Officer (IAAO).

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
