Dental Care of Pearlridge – Kokua Smiles

About the Position
Dental Care of Pearlridge, part of Kokua Smiles, is seeking a General Dentist to join our team in Aiea, Oahu. We offer a supportive clinical environment, modern dental technology, and clinical autonomy to help you provide quality, patient-centered care.
Schedule
- Part-time: Sundays and Mondays.
- Full-time: Four days per week, with the specific schedule discussed during the interview.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide preventive and restorative dentistry, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and other procedures within your training and clinical scope.
- Perform extractions, endodontic treatment, and implant procedures as appropriate to your experience and patient needs.
- Explain treatment recommendations and preventive care to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.
- Follow applicable clinical, infection control, and patient privacy requirements.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Active Hawaii dental license, or ability to obtain one before starting clinical work.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient comfort and quality care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.
- Familiarity with Open Dental is preferred; training is available.
- Prior clinical experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Estimated annual earnings for full-time providers: $200,000–$450,000, depending on production and the agreed compensation structure.
- Daily guarantee and a percentage of adjusted production, with terms outlined in the provider agreement.
- Production compensation ranging from 32%–40%, depending on the selected compensation option and applicable production tiers.
- Part-time compensation is based on the agreed daily guarantee and production structure. The annual full-time earnings range does not apply to the part-time schedule.
- Weekend incentives may be available for eligible providers.
- Signing bonus and relocation assistance may be available, depending on the compensation package.
