Maintenance Coordinator in Danville, Arkansas at 3D Corporate Solutions

SUMMARY: The purpose of the Maintenance Coordinator position is to maintain and improve equipment and parts inventory for MKJ Transportation dba Patriot Transport.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain all trucks and trailers (both owned and leased)
• Maintain inventory of parts
• Order parts and supplies
• Schedule pick up and/or delivery of parts and supplies as needed
• Manage PM’s for trucks and trailers
• Work closely with vendors via phone and in person meetings
• Communicate with Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator on all breakdowns and repairs
• Review maintenance invoices and submit to corporate for payment
• Enter and maintain work orders into Dossier
• Scan invoices into McLeod
• Red Tag equipment for repairs
• Work closely with drivers regarding maintenance of their trucks and/or trailer
• Ensures all tractors and trailers have required labeling
• Daily yard check at Pet
• Other duties as assigned

This position also requires 3 shifts of dispatch duties, approximately 18 hours per week with additional hours as needed. Please see Dispatch job description for dispatch duties.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a valid CDL
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in trucking operations; maintenance experience a plus
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of cause and effect of all operations
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to work in both a hot humid environment as well as a cold wet conditions for up to 12 hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on an a frequent basis, including lifting at shoulder level or above
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs on an infrequent basis
