Job Description
Job Title Clean Room Assembly OperatorDepartment Primary Arms, OpticsReports to: Clean Room ManagerThe Clean Room Assembly Operator is responsible for assembly of intricate parts or products in a controlled room. They must wear clean room attire and always adhere to the clean room environmental protocols. - Follow manufacturing instructions, processes, and proceduresAssembly may require the use of a microscope for some processesPerform manual assembly of Optical, Electrical, and Mechanical parts containing very small components and occasional visual inspectionSections of the manufacturing process may require operating Robotics and other Computer Controlled equipmentMaintain a clean work areaReport problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Clean Room ManagerComply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirementsOther duties as assigned by the Clean Room Manager
- Detail oriented1+ years of Assembly experienceAble to read, write and speak English fluentlyBe a team player and work well under pressureHave an excellent work ethicWilling to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities as they ariseBasic Soldering skillsDesire to work in a cleanroom environmentAbility to do repetitive work requiring dexterity and hand/eye coordinationAbility to maintain a high level of accuracyHigh degree of productivityProficient with basic computer operationsProfessional and pleasant demeanor
- Advanced soldering experience with PCBAs, small parts, and wiresSome experience working with microscopes, operating Robotics, and other Computer controlled equipmentSome experience in precision application of UV cure and two-part EpoxiesUnderstanding and/or passion for optics and outdoor shooting sportsThe desire to grow, improve processes, and present ideas in a clear and concise mannerProblem solving skills, root cause analysis, and document accuratelyProficient with Microsoft Office
- High school diploma requiredAssociate degree preferred
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of timeMust be able to lift to 25 pounds at times
