Job Description
The Blake School seeks a creative, reflective ninth through twelfth grade English teacher who is eager to help students read and write with rigor, insight and imagination.

In the English department, teachers collaborate with their colleagues to develop their practice, design innovative curricula and create a coherent experience for students. In addition to classroom instruction, English teachers confer frequently with each of their students about their writing, meet with grade-level teams, hold semester conferences with parents, support students within our advisory program and participate in school initiatives.
This is a full-time interim position to cover a family leave. Because of the duration, this position is not eligible for benefits.
