Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Travel throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region)
Position Summary
The Roofing Inspector is responsible for representing F5 Restoration in the Philadelphia market by inspecting residential and commercial roofing systems, documenting storm damage, educating property owners, and serving as the primary point of contact throughout the inspection process. This position plays a critical role in delivering a professional customer experience while ensuring complete and accurate documentation for insurance claims and retail roofing projects.
The Roofing Inspector is not responsible for estimating or negotiating with insurance carriers. Their primary responsibility is gathering accurate field information, maintaining customer communication, and ensuring every project is prepared for a smooth production process.

Primary Responsibilities
Customer Relations
• Respond promptly to assigned leads.
• Contact customers within one business day of receiving an assignment.
• Schedule inspections.
• Confirm appointments.
• Educate homeowners on the inspection process.
• Build trust through professionalism and product knowledge.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Roof Inspections
Conduct thorough inspections including:
• Roofing materials
• Flashing
• Ridge caps
• Valleys
• Drip edge
• Gutters
• Ventilation
• Skylights
• Chimneys
• Siding damage
• Window wrap damage
• Soft metals
• Exterior collateral damage
Inspect for:
• Wind damage
• Hail damage
• Fallen tree damage
• Age-related deterioration
• Improper installation
• Storm-related damage

Complete all required documentation including:
• Inspection Checklist
• Customer Information Sheet
• Property Measurements (if required)
• Damage Assessment
• Moisture observations
• Safety concerns

to the F5 AI System before leaving the job whenever possible.

Insurance Project Responsibilities
For insurance-related projects:
• Explain the insurance restoration process.
• Obtain signed contingency agreement when approved by management.
• Document all visible storm damage.
• Collect required homeowner information.
• Coordinate with Pittsburgh Operations.
• Be available for adjuster meetings if requested.
• Assist during insurance inspections.
• Document supplemental damage discovered during production.

Retail Roofing Responsibilities
For retail customers:
• Explain roofing options.
• Discuss repair versus replacement.
• Gather all information necessary for estimating.
• Coordinate with estimating department.
• Present estimate if requested.
• Follow up with prospective customers.

• Submit inspection reports within 24 hours.

• Coordinate HOA requirements when applicable.
• Verify production readiness.
