This is a unique opportunity for a technically skilled Sales Engineer to help organizations improve application reliability through innovative developer-focused solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between customer needs and technical capabilities, guiding prospects and customers through evaluations, implementations, and long-term success. You'll collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams while helping shape solutions that solve real-world challenges for development teams. Working in a remote-first, international environment, you'll have significant ownership and visibility across the customer journey. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise, customer empathy, and a passion for helping teams adopt modern software development practices.

Accountabilities
  • Serve as a technical expert throughout the customer lifecycle, supporting prospects and customers from initial discovery and product demonstrations through successful implementation.
  • Lead technical evaluations by understanding customer environments, designing tailored solutions, and demonstrating how the platform addresses specific engineering challenges.
  • Build trusted relationships with engineering teams and stakeholders, helping customers maximize the value of their investment.
  • Develop deep expertise in developer tools, application monitoring, testing, and reliability practices to provide strategic technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to support opportunities, improve technical messaging, and contribute to successful customer engagements.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams by sharing customer insights, feedback, and technical requirements to influence product development.
  • Create and improve technical documentation, processes, enablement materials, and internal resources to support scalable customer success.
  • Use AI-powered tools to accelerate customer-facing workflows, including prospect research, tailored demonstrations, proof-of-concept development, and technical content creation.
  • Support customer support activities when needed to maintain a strong understanding of customer challenges and product usage.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Customer Solutions, Forward Deployed Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong technical abilities with the capacity to read, write, and debug code, preferably using JavaScript and Node.js.
  • Experience working with developer-focused SaaS products, with backgrounds in observability, monitoring, testing, or related technologies considered an advantage.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools such as coding assistants and AI development platforms to improve productivity, create technical solutions, and support customer engagements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex technical environments and translate customer needs into effective solutions.
  • Autonomous and self-motivated working style with the ability to succeed in a remote-first environment.
  • Excellent customer communication skills with strong empathy, curiosity, and a passion for helping users achieve success.
  • Ownership-oriented mindset with the ability to build long-term customer relationships and contribute to company growth.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Located within European UTC+1 or UTC+2 time zones.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package with transparent salary structure.
  • €127K–€150K OTE range for higher-cost markets such as Germany, the UK, or France.
  • €115K–€140K OTE range for markets such as Spain, Poland, or Portugal.
  • 70% base salary and 30% commission structure.
  • Equity opportunities.
  • Fully remote work environment with flexibility across Europe.
  • 27 days of paid vacation.
  • Paid sick leave.
  • Up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Annual company off-site events.
  • Choice of employment or contractor engagement options.
  • Opportunity to join a fast-growing international team with significant ownership and impact.
