Position Summary

The position holder is responsible for the financial accounting of one or more Jet Aviation entities in the Shared Services Accounting team within the Finance department. As a Senior Accountant you will perform your tasks in line with the organization's vision and strategy. You will also be collaborating closely with other Finance departments to ensure that accounting is aligned and executed effectively.

Your Role

• Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, capital expenditure schedules and VAT declarations
• Perform the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing (US GAAP and Swiss OR)
• Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
• Analyze and prepare statutory accounts and financial statements and reports
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders relating to all aspects of the work
• Support all kinds of internal and external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Support other departmental tasks as deemed necessary
• Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
• Support team members in accounting issues

Your Profile

• Commercial accounting education
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within an international company
• Results-driven attitude - you execute with precision, accountability, and a customer centric mindset
• Fluent in English (oral and written), at least basic German skills, French is a plus
• Expertise in Swiss GAAP (OR) and US GAAP
• Proficient in MS office and SAP (R/3, S4)
• Team player
• Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
