Director of Engineering

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our engineering team and drive innovative solutions that support our company's growth and technological advancement. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the engineering strategy aligned with company goals and objectives

- Lead, mentor, and manage engineering teams across multiple projects and disciplines

- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of technical solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance

- Collaborate with product management, design, and other departments to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables

- Establish best practices, standards, and processes for quality assurance and deployment

- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation

- Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize project outcomes

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and technical excellence

- Having a strong understanding of building renovations and rebuilds.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience with Hotel Openings, rebuilds, or renovations is a plus.

- Bilingual preferred but not required.

- Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role, with a track record of managing large teams and complex projects

- Strong technical background with expertise in hotel and commercial buildings.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and strategies

- Experience with Agile methodologies and modern development tools

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions

- Knowledge of industry standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements
