Job Description
A Mechanical Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair factory equipment, industrial machinery, and associated electrical systems.

The right candidate will
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
- Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and preform preventative maintenance on complex electrical systems, including Programable Logic Controllers (PLCs), control circuits, communication systems, I/O field devices, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and motors.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
- Industrial Machinery Assembler Mechanic Repair, install, adjust or maintain industrial production and processing machinery.
- Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage or excessive wear.
- Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
- Record parts or materials used an order or put in a requisition for new parts or materials, as necessary.
- Record repairs and maintenance performed.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble new equipment.
- Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.
- Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.
What you will need
- Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Electrical – Knowledge of PLC’s, VFD’s, and electrical testing equipment.

The schedule is 4 on 4 off days currently. When the crew is full, it will be 4 on 4 off rotating from days to nights from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
