The Director, Product - XDR will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for an enterprise-grade cybersecurity platform, ensuring capabilities are scalable, differentiated, and aligned with customer needs. The role requires strong strategic vision, operational discipline, and the ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple teams.
- Own the XDR product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap, covering telemetry ingestion, detection capabilities, investigation workflows, response actions, reporting, AI-driven enhancements, and value measurement.
- Define how XDR capabilities support managed security, customer-managed, and hybrid deployment models.
- Establish XDR as a scalable platform capability by enabling integrations, extensibility, and alignment across security technologies.
- Partner with engineering, security teams, data teams, and product stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and deliver impactful solutions.
- Drive detection quality, integration strategy, lifecycle management, and operational readiness across the platform.
- Translate complex cybersecurity capabilities into intuitive experiences that improve analyst efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Establish measurable success criteria, including improvements in detection effectiveness, investigation speed, response times, and platform adoption.
- Collaborate with go-to-market teams to support launches, positioning, enablement, and competitive differentiation.
- Build and develop a high-performing product organization through strong processes, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a strategic product leader, aligning stakeholders and making effective decisions across complex initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings deep product leadership experience combined with strong cybersecurity expertise and the ability to manage sophisticated platform initiatives. They should be comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and influencing teams across technical and business functions.
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management, including 4+ years leading product managers or product teams.
- Extensive experience with cybersecurity products, including XDR, MDR, EDR, SIEM, or related security operations technologies.
- Proven ability to define and execute strategies for complex, platform-based products with multiple dependencies.
- Strong combination of strategic thinking, customer focus, and hands-on execution skills.
- Experience working with integrations-heavy platforms and third-party technology ecosystems.
- Familiarity with managed security services, security operations centers, and enterprise SaaS environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and executive audiences.
- Experience building product processes, outcome-based roadmaps, and measurable success frameworks.
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
- Competitive base salary range of approximately $186,000 - $302,000 USD annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.
