Job Description
This position must be a highly driven, technically proficient professional to lead the growth of our handheld strapping tool business throughout North America, as well as support our flexographic printer business. This role is responsible for developing strategic relationships with distributors, integrators, OEMs, end users, private label partners, and plastic strap manufacturers while aggressively expanding market share across industrial packaging channels. This highly visible position will play a key role in expanding a growing product category across North America.
Essential Functions: include the following:
1. Drive revenue growth and market penetration for battery-operated handheld strapping tools.
2. Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting distributors, OEMs, and high-volume end users.
3. Conduct technical product demos, application assessments, and training both onsite and virtually.
4. Collaborate with plastic strapping manufacturers to develop joint sales opportunities.
5. Provide technical expertise regarding strap compatibility, tool performance, tension requirements, sealing technologies, ergonomics, and application optimization.
6. Support customers with ROI analysis, productivity improvements, and conversion opportunities from manual or pneumatic tools to battery-operated solutions.
7. Accurately manage pipeline activity, forecasting, HubSpot updates, and sales reporting.
8. Attend Trade events to showcase tools and build network.
9. Travel throughout North America as required.
Work Environment:
This position is in a professional environment and the role carried out will regularly utilize computers, phones, and travel mainly by auto or plane.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The North American Sales Manager will regularly need to communicate and hear and listen, sit for prolonged periods of time, stand for prolonged periods of time, move about the office or facility, and travel up to 85% of the year.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, salary exempt position. Working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Skills:
1. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial instincts.
2. Mechanically inclined and solutions oriented.
3. Highly responsive, customer-focused, and collaborative.
4. Advanced in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
5. Knowledge of Syteline ERP system is a plus,
6. Understanding of polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET) strapping applications and consumables.
7. Comfortable operating in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
8. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
9. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
10. Passion for industrial equipment, packaging technology, and channel development.
Education/Experience:
1. Four Year College Degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
2. 3–5+ years’ hands-on experience with battery-powered, industrial strapping tools or other advanced, end-of-line load containment technologies.
3. Background in Sales of Packaging Equipment or Capital Equipment desired.
Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire.
