Goodwill Industries of Michiana is seeking a compassionate and driven PADUA Case Worker to provide client-centered case management and front-line support to individuals working to overcome poverty. Using a research-based, empowerment-focused approach, this role partners closely with clients to develop personalized service plans, coordinate community resources, and support long-term stability and self-sufficiency through consistent engagement and accountability.

Reporting to the Padua Program Manager, the PADUA Case Worker plays a vital role in delivering holistic services that create transformational outcomes for individuals and families. $40,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Stay knowledgeable about community resources and evolving best practices related to poverty and family self-sufficiency, sharing relevant insights with team members
• Assist clients by responding to questions, identifying challenges, and connecting them with appropriate internal and community-based resources
• Participate in staff training and professional development while contributing to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and constructive communication
• Utilize organizational tools and resources to address challenges while representing the organization positively within the community and maintaining strict confidentiality
• Work directly with clients in partnership with Case Managers to support holistic service planning, remove barriers to success, and promote sustained progress toward client goals

Qualifications:

• Clear and effective communicator in one-on-one and small group settings with clients, coworkers, and partners
• Capacity to review, analyze, and interpret complex documents, policies, and guidelines, and appropriately respond to sensitive questions or concerns
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with clients using empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and data entry
