DSRT SURF isn’t a traditional workplace, and we’re not looking for traditional hospitality staff.

We’re building a fast growing hospitality and lifestyle brand where surf culture, food and beverage, guest experience, and community come together in a unique way. We’re looking for energetic, polished, and guest focused team members who are excited to help create a fun, welcoming, and memorable lounge and poolside experience throughout the property.

As a Wave Lounge Host, you are responsible for delivering attentive food and beverage service within our cabana, lounge, and poolside environments. This role is all about hospitality, awareness, timing, and creating a great atmosphere while ensuring guests feel welcomed and taken care of throughout their time at DSRT SURF.

You will help maintain a clean, organized, and visually polished environment while supporting food and beverage operations and overall hospitality standards across guest facing spaces.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver food and beverage service throughout lounge, cabana, and poolside areas
• Take guest orders, deliver food and beverages, and provide attentive hospitality throughout service
• Support beverage preparation and bar service as needed based on operational needs and certifications
• Maintain clean, organized, and guest ready lounge and cabana environments at all times
• Assist with setup, stocking, organization, and presentation of service areas throughout shifts
• Anticipate guest needs and help create a fun, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere
• Communicate professionally with guests, leadership, culinary, and operational teams
• Help maintain cleanliness, safety, and hospitality standards across all guest facing areas

What You Bring

• Previous restaurant, lounge, poolside, nightlife, resort, hospitality, or food and beverage experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and guest first mindset
• Professional appearance and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in fast paced hospitality environments
• Comfortable working outdoors and in active food and beverage settings
• Bartending or responsible beverage service experience is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members across departments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout indoor and outdoor operational areas for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to maintain a high level of guest interaction throughout shifts
• Ability to work in a fast paced hospitality and food and beverage environment

Compensation

This is a non-exempt, hourly position. The anticipated pay range for this role is $XXX-XXX per hour. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.

Schedule Expectations

This is a part time position. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events may be required based on operational needs.
